Foster Parent College

 

Foster Parent College is the required training for foster and adoptive parents in Arizona. The Foster Parent College or "FPC" curriculum is the framework for the foster care and adoption process. It helps to identify the strengths and areas of need for new foster and adoptive parents. The course is conducted in-person and through online sessions. 

 

Normalcy

 

Is a  pre-service training that will help you explore your parenting role and how to make sound parenting decisions so that our youth can feel "normal" and engage in socially acceptable activities for their age and development.

Caring for the Medically Complex Child

 

This 18-hour training, designed by the Department of Child Safety, will prepare the foster and adoptive parent that would like to care for children that have complex medical issues. These children can be substance exposed, have several medical needs, feeding tubes, tracheotomy care, etc.

PIVOTAL PARENTING SUPPORT GROUP

Want to meet other parents?

 

Our MONTHLY support group for foster and adoptive parents allows families to fellowship with other parents. We a variety of topics, parents are able to build a network of support.
